The Worst Sleep Since Forever

Last night was the worst night for sleep I’ve had in a long, long time. I woke up three times before my alarm. Twice after a not-bad-enough-to-be-called-a-nightmare dream. When my alarm finally did go off I felt grumpy and out of sorts.

I’m still currently in a not so comfortable mood, but I’m doing better. This is because of a few important aspects of my morning routine. First, I had clothes laid out already. It feels really nice to not have to look when you wake up grumpy. Second, I make myself do jumping jacks in the morning. This gets blood flow to the brain and makes you more limber and alert. Thirdly, I had a schedule that showed important things to do today. Knowing what I’m going to do when I wake up makes me way more likely to actually get up on time.

Even though I had a terrible wakeup, I have the opportunity to make my morning better. And I’m working towards it, as others should.

I might also try some morning meditation.

For those of you wondering about yesterday’s stuff, I did as much banking figuring out as I could before it became out of my hands. I hopefully find out the status of my account today.

Question Time!

1. What am I excited about today?
Creating more content for my new extra special blog! It’s called The Rhythmic Story and is focused on meditation, specifically the style I created.

2. What am I grateful for today?
Today I am grateful for paper. I love writing on it and using it for my schedules even if Chalene suggests using an app. I am also grateful for instant oatmeal. Quaker knows his stuff. And I love the Maple & Brown Sugar style, although the Apples & Cinnamon is nothing to sneeze at either.

3. What am I absolutely going to complete today?
I am going to create the content for the blog, finish reading a book for my Elance work, and come up with one amazing meditation prelude that I can use for my CD.

The Last Day

Good Morning by amazingly wonderlific readers! Why am I so excited today? Why it’s the last day of course! The last day to finish all my February Goals! Here, Have a rundown of my progress:

  • Finish the Videos that are Over-Due for my Youtube (2 out of 4 edited and uploaded!)
  • Continue doing the Weekly Goals (Making Progress!)
  • Continue the 30-Day Challenge (Been doing every day!)
  • Come up With my Absolute PUSH Goal (Just need to write it down!)
  • Create Five Product Outlines (One down, four to go!)
  • Choose my First Product (Picked!!)

I have been doing so great so far! I know based on tomorrow’s events that I most likely will be unable to finish everything, but I’ll get most of it done, and for starting these goals about a week ago? I’d say I’m doing well!

1. What am I excited about today?
I am super mega ultra excited for finishing most of the things on that list! I’m also excited to see my friend today.

2. What am I grateful for?
Drafts. Autosaving drafts. I was able to start part of some other posts and such last night and since I’m so busy today it was just so awesome to know I could do a little work and not have it go to waste.

3. What am I absolutely going to do today?
Firstly, the thirty day challenge. Secondly, I’m going to get done the scripts for the next two videos. Thirdly, I’ll finish the product outlines. Honestly, if I complete all of this I will be more than content. And of course tomorrow you get to see the March Monthly Goals!

Required First Post and Productivity Questions

This is my first ever post on this blog, and it just so happens to be my first wordpress blog. I’ve had an attempt in the past but I never ever posted anything on it, probably because I prefer the interface of blogger.

Either way, welcome to my new fancy shmancy professional blog! Basically this is just where I’ll put all the non-personal related stuff. Stuff that people who might consider watching, liking, following, subscribing, and buying from me might want to see.

Let’s start this blog (and morning) off right with the good ‘ol productivity questions for the morning, suggested by one of my current 4 role models, Brendon Burchard. As a side note, my other three role models are Alex Sheen (from Because I Said I Would), Chalene Johnson, and Frank Kern.

In a recent video I watched by Brendon (it was one of those pre-launch videos for high performance academy I think) he posed these three questions for the morning time, before you even check your email.

1. What am I excited about today, or what COULD I MAKE to be excited about?
2. What am I grateful for today?
3. What am I committed to doing today, no matter what?

And so for this morning, here are my answers:

1. I am actually super excited for two main things today. Firstly, I’m looking forward to getting week 6’s card done for my 52 resolutions project. I get to go outside and find trash on the side of the road and clear it. The second thing is the drawing of week 7’s card. You never know what task you’re going to have to complete and I excited to learn what it will be.

2. I am grateful for the internet, where I can find and research things. I am grateful for my cat, who is up and pouncing on shadows this morning. I love how she brings me so much joy. I am grateful for words, because they are my passion. Lastly, I am grateful for grapefruit. A simple, nutritious breakfast.

3. Today I am committed to finishing the mystery story outline I have to do for elance, as well as starting the actual writing of said mystery. I am absolutely committed to doing all the week 6 work that I need to do today, including picking up the trash, drawing the next week’s card, and working on the script for the video. Lastly, I am committed to completing day four of Chalene Johnson’s 30 Day Challenge.

So that is my productivity post for the day and here are the first 5 things on my to-do list:
1. Social Media/Email
2. Finish Mystery Story Outline
3. Create an outline for Personal Mystery Story
4. Pick up the trash on the street
5. 52 Resolution Work – finish video 5 script, start video 6 script, get week 7’s card drawn.

As you see, these things match my day’s goals! I try to do my list in the order I set up the night before, so I don’t spend 10 minutes wondering what I should do next, I just do something!
